DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 300 PM MDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Rosa was located near latitude 15.0 North, longitude 108.9 West. Rosa is moving toward the west-northwest near 9 mph (15 km/h), and this general motion is expected to continue for the next few days. Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 50 mph (85 km/h) with higher gusts, and Rosa is expected to strengthen rapidly into a hurricane overnight.
