DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 800 AM PDT (1500 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Daniel was located near latitude 20.0 North, longitude 120.2 West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west-northwest near 9 mph (15 km/h). A westward motion is expected to start later today. Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts. The post-tropical cyclone is forecast to dissipate by Wednesday night.
