DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Irwin was located near latitude 26.6 North, longitude 129.7 West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the north-northwest near 8 mph (13 km/h), and this motion is expected to continue today. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Dissipation is expected during the next day or so. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
