Irwin is moving toward the west-southwest near 6 mph (9 km/h). A slow motion toward the west-southwest or west is expected to continue for the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 60 mph (95 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast during the next 48 hours.
