DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 800 PM PDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Bonnie was located near latitude 19.1 North, longitude 123.7 West. Bonnie is moving toward the west-northwest near 20 mph (31 km/h). A turn to the west is expected on Saturday and that motion should continue through Sunday. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 60 mph (95 km/h) with higher gusts. Additional weakening is forecast, and Bonnie is expected to become post-tropical on Saturday. The post-tropical low should then dissipate by Monday. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 60 miles (95 km) from the center.
