DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 700 AM PST (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Sandra was located near latitude 14.6 North, longitude 120.7 West. The depression is moving toward the west near 13 mph (20 km/h). A motion toward the west or west-southwest is expected during the next day or so. Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts. Additional weakening is forecast, and Sandra is expected to degenerate into a remnant later today and dissipate by Wednesday.
