DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 700 PM PST (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Sandra was located near latitude 15.3 North, longitude 119.0 West. The depression is moving toward the west near 15 mph (24 km/h), and this general motion is expected to continue for the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Weakening is forecast during the next day or two, and Sandra is expected to degenerate into a remnant low on Tuesday, and then dissipate by Wednesday.
