Celia is moving toward the west-northwest near 10 mph (17 km/h). A turn toward the northwest is expected later today, with this motion continuing Tuesday night and Wednesday. Maximum sustained winds are near 100 mph (155 km/h) with higher gusts. Weakening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and Celia could weaken to a tropical storm on Wednesday.
