Celia is moving toward the west near 12 mph (19 km/h), and this motion is expected to continue through Monday. A turn toward the west- northwest is forecast Monday night. Maximum sustained winds are near 60 mph (95 km/h) with higher gusts. Some strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and Celia is forecast to become a hurricane by tonight. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 115 miles (185 km), mainly to the north of the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 997 mb (29.44 inches).
