DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 300 AM CST (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Eighteen-E was located near latitude 8.2 North, longitude 100.5 West. The depression is moving toward the west near 14 mph (22 km/h), and a westward to west-northwestward motion is expected for the next few days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast during the next day or so, followed by slight strengthening on Monday or Tuesday.
