DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 200 AM PDT (0900 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Paul was located near latitude 22.3 North, longitude 127.4 West. Paul is moving toward the west near 9 mph (15 km/h), and this general heading with a decrease in forward speed is expected for the next day or two. A turn toward the west-southwest or southwest is possible by the end of the week. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.
