DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Gilma was located near latitude 16.2 North, longitude 139.7 West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west near 15 mph (24 km/h). This general motion with a slight decrease in forward speed is expected during the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Gradual weakening is expected, and the remnant low is forecast to dissipate in a couple of days.
