Lester is moving toward the west near 13 mph (20 km/h), and this motion with some additional increase in forward speed is expected during the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 105 mph (165 km/h) with higher gusts. Some strengthening is possible during the next 24 hours, followed by slow weakening after that time. Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 25 miles (35 km) from the center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 105 miles (165 km).
