The depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 12 mph (19 km/h). A motion toward the west-northwest at a slower speed is forecast through Sunday night. A westward motion is expected Monday and Tuesday. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Slow strengthening is forecast over the next few days, and the depression is expected to become a tropical storm tonight or early Sunday.
