DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 1000 PM CDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Two-E was located near latitude 14.1 North, longitude 105.7 West. The depression is moving toward the northwest near 9 mph (15 km/h). A west-northwestward and then westward motion with a decrease in forward speed are expected during the next several days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Strengthening is forecast during the next few days. The depression is expected to become a tropical storm overnight and then strengthen to a hurricane by early Thursday. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
