DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 300 PM MDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Andres was located near latitude 16.0 North, longitude 109.8 West. The depression is moving toward the north-northwest near 7 mph (11 km/h). A turn to the northwest and west-northwest is expected on Tuesday, followed by a westward motion on Wednesday. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Additional weakening is expected during the next couple of days, and Andres is forecast to become a remnant low on Tuesday and dissipate by early Thursday.
