DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 300 PM MDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Andres was located near latitude 14.0 North, longitude 108.5 West. Andres is moving toward the northwest near 6 mph (9 km/h), and this general motion is expected to continue through Monday followed by a turn toward the west by late Tuesday. Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts. Some weakening is forecast during the next 48 hours. Gradual weakening is expected to begin on Monday, with the system becoming a remnant low on Tuesday. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 70 miles (110 km) from the center.
