more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure system over the SE United States
extends a ridge across the Gulf of Mexico and will move eastward 
by midweek in response to a cold front approaching the western 
Gulf. Ahead of this front, fresh to strong southerly return flow 
can be expected in the western Gulf on Wed night. These winds will
diminish Thu as the cold front moves across the Gulf Thu night 
through Sat. Moderate to fresh northerly winds can be expected 
behind the front with moderate seas.

.TODAY...W winds less than 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...W winds less than 10 kt, shifting to E after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft
in the afternoon.
