Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure centered over north-central Gulf will
shift east of the area by late Wed. Meanwhile a weak trough will
form off the west coast of the Yucatan Peninsula each evening
and move across the southwest Gulf overnight. Looking ahead, a
cold front will move off the Texas coast into the northwest Gulf
Fri, preceded by scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
By early Sat, the front may stall from north-central Florida to
weak low pressure near south Texas, with a cold front extending
the low pressure southward to near Veracruz, Mexico. Little
change to this pattern is expected Sun and Sun night. Fresh to
strong winds and building seas will follow the front, especially
over the far west- central and southwest Gulf along the coast of
Mexico from Fri night to Sat night and over most of the western
Gulf Sun and Sun night.

after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft after
midnight.

3 ft in the afternoon.
