Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front reaches from 30N86W to 23N98W.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are active near the western
portion of the front mainly W of 90W. The front will continue
moving SE across the basin through the weekend and early next
week with fresh winds and rough seas. Looking ahead, winds and
seas will diminish through mid week as high pressure builds over
the northern Gulf in the wake of the front.
