Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak surface trough over the central Gulf will
drift westward as high pressure continues to build over the Gulf
waters through the upcoming weekend. Gentle to moderate winds
will persist through early next week with slight seas. 

Gulf of Mexico N of 26N W of 87W

.TONIGHT...E winds 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the evening, subsiding to
2 ft or less. 
.FRI...SE winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.FRI NIGHT...SE winds less than 10 kt, increasing to 10 to 15 kt
after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...S winds 10 to 15 kt, diminishing to less than 10 kt in
the afternoon. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or
less.
