Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak ridge of high pressure will remain in place
across the Gulf waters through the forecast period. This will
support mainly gentle to moderate winds, except over the Bay of
Campeche where winds will be enhanced by a thermal trough coming
off the Yucatan Peninsula during the night hours. 

Gulf of Mexico N of 26N W of 87W

.TONIGHT...SE winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...S winds 10 to 15 kt in the morning, becoming variable
winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...Variable winds less than 10 kt, becoming S 10 kt
after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...SW winds 10 to 15 kt, diminishing to less than 10 kt in
the afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT THROUGH TUE...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft.

.TONIGHT...E winds less than 10 kt, increasing to 10 to 15 kt
after midnight. Seas 3 ft.

10 kt in the morning, becoming variable winds less than 10 kt.
Elsewhere, SE winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to E in the afternoon.
Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding to 2 ft or less.
