Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure extending from southwest Florida to
the upper Texas coast will move little through mid week. Fresh
winds will pulse north of the Yucatan peninsula each night
through mid week as a trough develops each evening and moves
offshore. Smoke from agricultural fires in Mexico is producing
some hazy conditions over the western Gulf.

.TONIGHT...S winds less than 10 kt, increasing to 10 to 15 kt
after midnight. Seas 3 ft. 
.SUN...S winds 10 to 15 kt, diminishing to less than 10 kt in
the afternoon. Seas 3 ft. 
.SUN NIGHT...S winds less than 10 kt, increasing to 10 to 15 kt
after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON...SW winds 10 to 15 kt, diminishing to less than 10 kt in
the afternoon. Seas 3 ft.
