Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from offshore of the mouth of
the Mississippi River to the Florida Big Bend Area will weaken
quickly Sat as it moves southward across Florida and the
adjacent Gulf. Another cold front is forecast to approach the
northern Gulf late Sat night and Sun, inducing moderate
southerly flow across the entire Gulf. This front should enter
the northern Gulf Sun night, then sink gradually southward
through Tue night, then is expected to weaken across the SE Gulf
Wed as it exits the basin. In response, fresh to strong NE
winds, and locally near-gale winds are expected N of the front
Mon through Tue night.
