Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from Pascagoula, MS to a
1003 mb low pressure in the western Bay of Campeche near 20N95W
to the coast of Mexico near 18.5N95W. Strong to near gale force
S winds will continue over the eastern Gulf, including the
Yucatan Channel, through early this evening. Fresh NW winds are
behind the front over the NW Gulf. NW gales will continue 
offshore of Veracruz, Mexico through late this afternoon. The 
front will reach from Apalachicola, FL to the central Bay of 
Campeche late this evening, before stalling on Sat. Gale force 
gusts across the Gulf of Mexico will end by late this evening. 
Winds and seas will subside by Sat afternoon. Benign winds and 
seas will then continue into early next week.
