height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A previously stationary front from near
Apalachicola, Florida, to 25N91W has devolved in a surface
trough that will dissipate later today. Weak high pressure
building into the northern Gulf will lead to gentle to moderate
winds into tonight. As the high moves E, fresh to strong SE to S
flow will develop in the NW and north central Gulf Mon into Tue.
The next cold front will move off the Texas coast by Tue night,
then move SE across the basin into late week. Patchy dense
marine fog is possible at times, especially within 20 nm of the
U.S. coastline, early this week.
