Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Remnants of Lisa will dissipate over the southwest
Gulf this evening. Elsewhere, high pressure over the remainder
of the Gulf is shifting eastward ahead of a cold front entering
the NW Gulf. The front will stall and dissipate over the
northwest Gulf through Sun. The pressure gradient is expected to
tighten between high pressure building southward over the area
and broad low pressure that will approach Florida from the
Bahamas starting late Sun. This pattern will result in
increasing winds and building seas Mon through Wed over the
eastern Gulf.
