Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Remnants of Lisa are near 21.2N 95.2W 1008 mb at
11 AM EDT moving N at 4 kt. Maximum sustained winds are 20 kt
with gusts 30 kt. Lisa will dissipate this evening. Elsewhere,
high pressure over the remainder of the Gulf will shift eastward
today. A cold front is expected to enter the NW Gulf today, then
stall and dissipate through Sun. The pressure gradient is
expected to tighten between high pressure building southward
over the area and broad low pressure that will approach Florida
from the Bahamas starting late Sun. This pattern will result in
increasing winds and building seas Mon through Wed over the
eastern Gulf.
