Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough extending from the north-central
Gulf to off Veracruz, Mexico will linger over the southwest Gulf
into mid week, ahead of a cold front currently moving through
the Gulf from near Saint Marks, Florida to Corpus Christi,
Texas. The weak cold front will shift slowly south then stall
from near Tampa, Florida to Brownsville, Texas by mid week then
dissipate. Looking ahead to later in the week, high pressure
will build over the southeast U.S. following the front,
maintaining gentle to moderate easterly breezes and slight seas.
