Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A middle-level inverted trough over the central and
eastern Gulf continues to support scattered showers and
thunderstorms E of 95W. Atlantic surface ridging will be the
dominant feature across the basin through early Fri. This will
result in mainly gentle to moderate return flow. On Fri, the
ridge will weaken, and winds will become light to gentle and
continue through the weekend and into early next week. Winds
will also pulse moderate to locally fresh in the evenings off
the northwest Yucatan through early next week.
