Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface ridge across the N Gulf will reorganize
along 28N Fri through Sat then sink S and across the central
Gulf through Mon. Gentle to moderate winds and slight seas will
prevail through this time. A low-level trough extending from
near 29N83W to 24N86W will move slowly westward and weaken
through tonight, accompanied by scattered moderate convection.
NE to E winds will pulse to fresh each evening and night along
the NW Yucatan peninsula through Fri and to moderate Sat and
Sun.

.TODAY...S winds less than 10 kt in the morning, becoming
variable winds less than 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...SE winds less than 10 kt in the morning, becoming
variable winds less than 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...SE winds 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft
after midnight.
