height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough located near the southern coast of
Texas will move slowly northward and farther inland tonight.
Active weather is expected to linger across the Texas coastal
waters through tonight. A surface ridge will dominate the Gulf
waters through early next week to produce mainly gentle to
moderate winds and slight to moderate seas. Fresh NE to E winds
will pulse at night near the NW Yucatan peninsula through Mon
night.
