Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...An area of low pressure centered over the
northwestern Gulf of Mexico will move slowly westward and
approach the coast of Texas today. There is a medium chance the
disturbance may develop into a brief tropical depression tonight
or early Thursday. Otherwise, mainly gentle to moderate winds
and slight to moderate seas will prevail.

.THIS AFTERNOON...SE winds less than 10 kt. Seas 3 ft. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds less than 10 kt, increasing to 10 to 15 kt
after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft after
