Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front stretches from Mississippi to northern
Mexico. Thunderstorms continue to move ahead of the front, with
some storms capable of producing gusty winds and rough seas.
Moderate to locally fresh southerly flow can be expected in the
northeast Gulf ahead of the front, with gentle winds behind it.
The front will continue pushing eastward through the northern
basin over the next few days, weakening over the northeast Gulf
by Sat. Showers and thunderstorms will persist ahead of the
front through Fri. By the weekend, high pressure will settle
over the basin, allowing winds to become gentle to moderate.
