Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from the Florida Keys to 23N89W
to 23N93W. The front will become stationary later tonight from
the Straits of Florida to 23N87W. The portion west of 87W will
dissipate Wed. Fresh ENE to ESE winds N of the front will
persist through tonight, before shifting to E and SE Wed.
Afterward, a strengthening high over the Mid-Atlantic States
will cause pulsing fresh to strong easterly winds over the
eastern and south-central Gulf Wed night through Fri night,
including the Straits of Florida and areas near the Yucatan
Peninsula. Moderate to fresh E to SE return flow should dominate
the entire Gulf for the weekend.
