Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure has settled in over the area. Gentle
to moderate winds are noted across most of the eastern Gulf with
light winds near the high pressure. Fresh to strong southerly
winds are noted in the western Gulf of Mexico near the Texas and
Mexico coasts. Fresh winds will continue to expand across the
eastern Gulf on Mon through Wed as the high pressure shifts
eastward out of the basin. The fresh to strong winds across the
western and central Gulf are expected to continue through Wed. A
weak cold front could potentially move off the Texas coast on
Thu, move into the northern Gulf and stall.
