Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure is building across the area in the
wake of the recent cold front. Fresh to strong north to
northeast winds south of 26N will diminish tonight. Fresh to
strong west north winds over the northern Gulf east of 94W are
following a secondary cold front approaching the NE Gulf. This
front will quickly move southward across the eastern Gulf
tonight and Sat with the fresh to strong winds following it.
These winds will diminish by Sun. Fresh to strong east to
southeast return flow is expected in the western Gulf on Sat
night and through early Wed afternoon.
