height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from Fort Myers, Florida to the
northeast Yucatan. The front will exit the basin by this
afternoon. Fresh to strong winds will continue across the
southern Gulf in the wake of the front with conditions improving
in this area by tonight. A second cold front will move across
the NE Gulf this evening. Fresh to strong winds are expected
with the front across the eastern Gulf today through Sat. Fresh
to strong E to SE return flow should set up in the W Gulf late
Sat through at least Tue night.
