Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Areas of fog are occurring along the northern Gulf
coast, with some dense fog along the Texas coast. Patchy fog
will persist into tonight. Fresh to locally strong S winds in
the south-central Gulf will diminish tonight. A cold front will
move off the Texas coast this afternoon. Strong N winds and
building seas will follow the front, which will reach from the
Florida Big Bend to the central Bay of Campeche by Thu morning.
Gales will develop Thu afternoon offshore Veracruz, Mexico, and
continue through the evening. The cold front will move SE and
exit the basin by Fri morning. High pressure will move E across
the northern Gulf Fri through the weekend.
