Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends north of Tampa Bay, Florida
near 29N83W to 26N87W. The front becomes stationary from 26N87W
to 23N94W to north of Veracruz, Mexico near 20N97W. A
pre-frontal trough extends south of Tampa Bay to 26N87W with
some strong thunderstorms along this feature. The front will
stall today from near Tampa Bay to Veracruz, Mexico, then
meander over the area this weekend. Strong thunderstorms may
continue along the front through Sat. The front will dissipate
sometime early next week with southerly return flow dominating
the basin.
