Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends across the Gulf from the
Mississippi coast near 30N88W to north of Veracruz, Mexico near
20N96W. Fresh to strong southerly winds are expected across the
eastern Gulf through this morning ahead of the front. Fresh to
strong northerly winds are expected behind the front through Thu
night, mostly in the southwest Gulf. The front will reach the SE
waters by Wed night, and move just SE of the area by Thu night.
Showers and thunderstorms will continue along the front through
Thu. A weak cold front will enter the NW Gulf on Thu morning and
bring moderate to fresh winds behind it. The front will approach
the eastern Gulf by Fri afternoon and exit by Fri night.
