Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface ridge extending from high pressure off the
Carolinas to northern Mexico will continue to dominate the Gulf
through early Tue evening. This pattern will continue to support
moderate to fresh with locally strong easterly winds and higher
seas across the southern Gulf this morning. Winds and seas will
diminish across the basin by this evening. For the western Gulf,
fresh E to SE return flow will set up in advance of the next
cold front. The front will enter the far NW Gulf early Tue
morning, and reach from the western Florida panhandle to the
eastern Bay of Campeche by late Tue. Fresh winds accompanying
this front will diminish by mid week.
