Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Areas of dense fog and hazy skies over the NW Gulf
continues to linger over the NW Gulf. The cold front extends
from the Mississippi coast near 30N89W to 25N96W to the coast of
Tampico, Mexico near 22N98W. Fresh to strong northerly winds
follow the front and will diminish by early Tue morning as the
boundary stalls from the Florida Panhandle to the Bay of
Campeche. The stationary front will then linger across the area
through midweek and then gradually dissipate by Thu. A strong
cold front is expected to enter the NW Gulf Fri evening. Gale
force winds are possible along the Mexico coast on Sat. Strong
to near gale- force winds and rough seas are expected to impact
most of the basin through Sat night.
