Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure of 1030 mb is centered just offshore
the mouth of the Rio Grande. Marine conditions will improve
today as this high builds SE into the Gulf. However, fresh to
locally strong NE to E winds will continue into Wed night over
the SE Gulf and Florida Straits. Fresh to strong southerly
return flow is forecast to develop over the NW Gulf Tue night
through Wed night. These strong winds will move E across the
northern Gulf Wed night into Thu. The next cold front is
expected to enter the western Gulf on Thu, and extend from the
Florida Panhandle to Veracruz, Mexico, early Fri.
