Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extends from Havana Cuba westward 
to 23N95W and southward to 18N93W. Strong to near gale force NW 
to N winds are in the SW Gulf, west of the front. Conditions will 
improve across the Gulf of Mexico by Wed as the front weakens and 
pushes southeast of the area. In the wake of the front, high 
pressure will build over Gulf late this week, leading to gentle 
winds west of 90W. Fresh NW winds are expected in the eastern Gulf
late Thu into early Fri as low pressure forms east of Florida. 
The next cold front is expected to emerge off the Texas coast by 
Sat. Strong winds are expected behind this front, with gale force 
winds possible offshore Mexico from Tampico to Veracruz.
