Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will move off the Texas coast this
evening, bringing strong to near gale-force winds to the NW Gulf
and along the coast of Mexico Sun into Mon. The front will move
slowly until low pressure forms in the central Gulf on Mon, then
moves northeastward into the SE U.S. Tue, dragging the cold
front across the Gulf as it does. Winds and seas will subside
Tue night through Thu in the wake of the front, as weak high
pressure builds in across the Gulf. 

Gulf of Mexico N of 26N W of 87W

.TONIGHT...SW winds less than 10 kt, shifting to NW after
midnight. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.SUN...N winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.SUN NIGHT AND MON...NE winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.MON THROUGH WED...N winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.WED THROUGH THU...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
