Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from the central Florida coast
near 28N83W to near Tampico, Mexico near 22N97W. South of the
front, a 1012 mb low is located near 25N87W. The low will merge
with the front by Fri morning, then move to the northeast into
central Florida by Fri evening. The front will follow, moving
southeast of the Gulf by late Sat. Strong to near gale force
winds are possible over the northeast Gulf on Fri as the low
moves inland, with frequent gusts to gale force expected by the
afternoon. Winds and seas will diminish over the western Gulf
Sat through early next week as high pressure builds north of the
area following the front.
