Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough extending from a low pressure
located 130 nmi SE of Wilmington, North Carolina to Lake
Okeechobee to Fort Myers and into the SE gulf is generating
showers over Naples and Marco Island adjacent waters. Upper
level diffluent flow continue to support similar convective
activity over the Bay of Campeche. Otherwise, a weak pressure
gradient support light to gentle variable winds with seas to
3 ft. A weak surface ridge will start to build across the basin
this evening and moderate to locally fresh return flow will
develop over the western half of the basin, continuing through
Thu night.
