Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A frontal trough extends from near the Tampa Bay
area in Florida to the Bay of Campeche. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms are associated with the trough over the SE Gulf.
The frontal trough will move across south Florida and the SE
Gulf on Sat while dissipating on Sun. Moderate to fresh southerly
return flow is expected over the western Gulf late Sun through 
Wed night under the influence of a ridge.
