Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of Mexico

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Synopsis for the Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak low pressure in the eastern Bay of Campeche is
producing locally heavy rainfall over the Yucatan Peninsula and
adjacent waters tonight. This low is forecast to move slowly N
or NE over the central and NE Gulf of Mexico over the next few
days. Upper level winds may become somewhat conducive for
tropical cyclone formation by late Tue, before the system
crosses the SE U.S. mid-week. A stationary front previously over
the NE Gulf has dissipated, so aside from the low pressure, high
pressure will dominate most of the basin early this week.
